Эмиль Ажар - Вся жизнь впереди. Часть 1

Попалась мне тут книжка Эмиля Ажара – «Вся жизнь впереди». Как утверждает обложка, за него автор получил Гонкуровскую премию. А позже выяснилось, что он всех провел и никакой он не Ажар, а Ромен Гари. И премию ему присудили уже вторую.

Сразу хочу сказать две вещи.

Первое – псевдонимов у автора было не два, а четыре. К Ажару присоединяются еще и Фоско Синибальди и Шотан Бога. Видимо с определением собственной личности у него были проблемы. Или он просто хотел «срубить» 4 премии вместе одной и создал мультов. И это не говоря о том, что он вообще Роман Кацев, и вовсе не француз, а потомственный еврей.

Второе – с премией дело не вполне ясное. Она присуждается автору один раз в жизни, но благодаря тому, что Гари всех обманул, он получил две. На задней части обложки есть надпись, что за роман «Вся жизнь впереди» Эмиль Ажар удостоен этой премии. Открываем форзац и видим другую надпись – «Голубчик», за который Эмиль Ажар получил Гонкуровскую премию. И еще одну он получил за «Корни неба», как Ромен Гари. В итоге я насчитала три. То ли лыжи не едут, то ли я….

Теперь вернемся к самому произведению «Вся жизнь впереди».

Это роман, рассказанный от лица маленького мальчика Момо людям, которые в конечном итоге его и приютили. Он повествует нам о трущобах Парижа, где бок о бок живут представители различных народов – арабы, негры, евреи и прочие. Момо, он же Мохаммед, типичный араб, сын шлюхи, которую убил из ревности ее сожитель. Наш герой живет у старой еврейки Розы, которая содержит пансион для вот таких детей. Она имеет с этого какую-то копейку, ну и плюс помогает женщинам в сложной жизненной ситуации.

На самом деле история грустная и о многом заставляет задуматься. Например, о проблеме эвтаназии, о которой спорят уже очень давно. Здесь этот вопрос поднимается в свете того, что Роза, ужасно боящаяся загреметь в больницу, потихоньку умирает и сходит с ума в своем пансионе, окруженная заботой одного лишь Момо, который еще многого не понимает, многого не умеет, но делает все, чтобы облегчить жизнь своей «маме».

В то же время, читать книгу легко и местами даже очень весело.

«Мне казалось, матери есть у всех, кроме меня. Чтобы она пришла, у меня случались судороги и сводило живот…. Я даже стал какать в комнатах где попало, чтоб внимание обратили. Никакого толку. Мама не приходила, а мадам Роза впервые обругала меня арабской задницей, потому что она у меня не французская. Я ревел и кричал, что хочу видеть маму, и несколько недель назло продолжал срать на пол…. Тогда на пансионе у мадам Розы жило семеро детей шлюх, все они тоже взапуски принялись хезать где попало, потому что малышня – самые большие обезьяны на свете, и куч было столько, что где мои – было уже не отличить».

Я даже комментировать не буду, настолько это гениально.
